BMC Students can proceed to Master in Mass Communication (MMC). The board expertise and skills gained through Mass Communication ensures excellent careers for the graduates even in other professions besides Media Various employment areas for them are Blogs, Radio Telecasting Companies, Websites, Central Information Service, Advertising Agencies, Broadcasting Corporate, Legal Affairs Department, Photography Companies, Press Information Bureau, Periodicals and magazines, etc. Some government organization that offer candidates who have completed Mass Communication courses are All India Radio (AIR), Doordarshan, Rajbhasha Department in Human Resource Development Ministry, etc.
Student will undergo a rigorous On-Job Training (OJT) in the sixth semester for about four weeks. Effort will be made to find opportunities for this outside Patna. All the expenses of such training will be met by the students.
Pre-requisite for Admission
Any student who has passed 10 + 2 in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks (SC/ST/EBC/PH students 40%) is eligible for admission. The medium of instruction as well as examination is English. All students are required to undergo an English Proficiency Test post admission. Based on their performance in this test, they will be divided into different groups for English Proficiency Classes.

As per the University norms, registration fee is charged only once at the time of registration however, the examination fee is taken per semester. The registration and examination fees are not included in aforesaid fee structure.
